    Spray wall updates

    After getting the upgrade of making the Kilterboard adjustable, we decided to take down the Spraywall and free up the space for normal bouldering again. We decided to free up the wall because people really miss the big overhang for every level of bouldering and more variation in movement instead of the same setup all the time. We hope you guys enjoy this decision and keep crushing those boulders. A new Spraywall is planned for 2027 upstairs in the training area.

    Black tape circuit

    After long thoughts, we came to the conclusion of giving the green circuit a more stable line of grading and keeping it in the range of 7b-7c, which allows a nice overflow from grade 7a into the next level. But don’t get us wrong, we want to keep pushing the higher level as well. So here’s the deal: the Black Tape circuit has arrived. The Black Tape circuit consists of 18 boulders, which are created from each colour/circuit, so the circuit has the biggest amount of variation of holds. Sounds like mysteries? It is like that, but now we also provide easier and accessible mysteries focusing on grades 4a-7a so everyone can enjoy a broad variation of holds and moves.

    Investements

    This year we got some new ventilators on the ceiling to keep you guys a bit fresher on these hot days.
    On request, we installed a baby diaper changing table in the yoga room for all the parents who need a private spot to do so.

    Food and Drinks 

    As of the extreme heat, we got Nijs Ice, a good refreshment during, after, or before your session.

    Of course, the chef was cooking again and came up with the new menu:

    Pizza of the Month: Mortadella & Pistachio with creamy burrata on top.

    Meal of the Month: Pasta Poveraccia, a traditional rustic pasta containing olive oil, garlic, capers, olives, anchovies, toasted breadcrumbs, and some homemade sauce.

    Soup of the Month: Gazpacho soup, served cold with some nice crispy bread to dip, the perfect meal for this hot weather.

    22nd of August, it’s time to Grill & Chill, people! Bring your own meat or veggies, and we’ll provide salad and bread for each and every one of you. Good vibes, yard party, DJs outside, the sun is burning; let’s come together and enjoy!
